Ray is obsessed with the sun, to the extent of even becoming a weatherman. However, his predictions are not always accurate, resulting in angry characters. These characters may even go as far as to kill Ray (though in the case of Perry, accidentally).
Ray, as with most characters, can not properly defend himself. This results in him fleeing, and is a major problem, considering that many viewers are angered by his inaccurate weather predictions.
Ray is subject to much damage or misfortune, usually being injured by others as a lack of either knowledge and experience or a way to defend himself. An example of this is when Ale stabbed his eye out and drank his blood. If he had more experience or power, most of his deaths would have been prevented. In this way, he is similar to Superspeed or Trippy.
